Sorry for the off topic message but wanted to pass this along as I'm
sure there are some science fact and fiction fans out there...

B. Gentry Lee will be speaking at the Beckman Auditorium at Caltech on
Thursday, Dec 4 at 8 pm.  Lee is Chief Engineer for the Planetary
Flight Systems Directorate at JPL and an active science fiction
author.  He coauthored four novels with Arthur C. Clarke including
Cradel and three sequels to Clarke's Rendezvous with Rama; as well as
his own novels).

Topics will include Mars Exploration, Vision of the 21st Century and
Extra-terrestrials in Fact and Fiction.  Admission is free, no tickets
or reservation required.
