This will interest a few, I'm sure, but during some of the more obscure
after-the-after-meeting discussions, the topic of really bad sci-fi
movies came up (or maybe just so-bad-they-are-good movies) and the
thought arose that maybe sometime we'd get together for a movie night...

That aside, but relevant, I just saw this pop into my inbox here at
work:

So, who needs a copy of forbidden planet? (in HD...)

WBHEG, MICROSOFT TO OFFER FILMS, TV SERIES ON XBOX 360
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group has signed an agreement with
Microsoft Corp. making select films and television series from the
Warner Bros. library available for download via the Internet for viewing
on the Xbox 360 gaming console. Beginning November 22, gamers will be
able to download to rent such films as "The Matrix," "Superman Returns"
and "Batman Forever."

I debated including this one, but the subject of x-boxes and such came
up during the meeting last night, so I left it in -- sounds like the
Xbox is ripe for a mythTV upgrade...
