If the problem persists, you might want to do that.

If it were me, I'd read up about the power supply and find out what
can command it off.  If the power supply conforms to some standard,
that standard would be the place to look.

If that study indicates that a signal from the motherboard can shut
down the power supply (a likely state of affairs, I think), then I
would read up about the motherboard to learn what I could about when
it delivers that signal.

If that study indicates that an instruction sequence to the CPU, such
as from the BIOS, can generate that signal from the motherboard (a
likely state of affairs, I think), then I would look at source
listings for the BIOS code to see when it gives that instruction
sequence.
