OK, this just plain freaked me out. We all know its coming, but the time frame is moved up a bit. It is a forward from a Star trek listserve for comstationz.org.
Functions of robots are improving with each passing day ..

Take a look at this clip; this thing walks so well...its  almost scary.....how much it emulates so closely how a human being would walk across a snowy, uneven field, and then get up after falling over completely!
