Hi all,
The NASA Space Apps Challenge is an international hackathon for Apr 22-24 to solve challenges relating to space flight and life here on Earth. You can participate virtually or through a local hackathon
https://2016.spaceappschallenge.org/
If you are interested in the local hackathon, you should join the Meetup group and participate in one of the kickoff meetings. The first one is this Thursday from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at the Hackaday Design Lab. As you can see, it is a pretty full agenda, and there will be a lot of presentations.

There is a second one at Carnegie Observatories in Pasadena on Tuesday, April 12th, which will be a more detailed look at the tools that are available and hook you up with mentors from JPL
