[SGVLUG] JPL Open House => A Ticket to Explore JPL

Hi all,

Just wanted to give you a heads-up that JPL has changed the way they do Open House.  Last year, Open House was not long after The Martian film premiered and JPL was on a lot of people's radar.  They had so many people show up, that they had to turn away people pretty early in the day.  So they are now experimenting with going to a ticketed system.


They are calling the event A Ticket to Explore JPL and will be June 4-5, 2016.


And though they didn't mention it on the page or the embedded video, I'm pretty sure these will be timed tickets that allow you entry on or after a set start-time. 


The tickets will be available starting on April 25th at 9am PDT on a first-come, first-served basis.  Tickets are free, but non-transferable, and they will ask for ID on entry, if you are 18 or older.  There is a limit of 5 tickets per family.  The tickets were be available at the below link.
