I was approached with this opportunity by one of the organizers. Since they
are looking for good people to mentor, I thought to share it with the group.

If you are interested, let me know and I will put you in touch with the
organizing team.

Here are the details:

> On April 26th, a team of Caltech and USC students are hosting about 100
> high schoolers from low-income schools in Pasadena at Microsoft’s offices
> in Playa Vista for a one day hackathon. These students already have some
> exposure to basic web development and are off to a good start. Our mission
> is to show them how easy it is to take these technologies and build an
> empowering product. That’s where you come in.
> In order to excite these students and give them a smooth experience, we're
> looking for professional mentors to assist them. It'll be your
> responsibility to take a student through a day's worth of building
> something challenging yet rewarding. Whether it's a game or a web product,
> we want students to see the power of programming and the rich, helpful
> community behind it.
> The event runs from 9am to 8pm. You can commit to help a group for the
> whole day, or either the early (9am-1:30pm) or the late (1:30pm-8pm) shift.
> Food and parking for the day will be provided.

Best,
Rami
