Here's the SoCal Code Camp schedule, to make it easy to decide whether it's worth going and which day(s) to go.
http://www.socalcodecamp.com/schedule.aspx

I am motivated to get there early on Saturday as there is a git talk at 8:45am.

Coincidentally, the Endeavour shuttle move from LAX to the California Science Center this Friday and Saturday.  Code Camp attendees may have issues with traffic and parking on Saturday.  On the other hand, once you're there, you're in a really good position to see the shuttle.  They have a couple of viewing events in the area on Saturday.  There will be one at Crenshaw and Martin Luther King Blvd around 1pm.  There will be another one at the California Science Center.  They will open up at viewing area around 5pm.  The shuttle will reach the Science Center no later than 9pm.
