[SGVLUG] wikimediafoundation seeks donations

Hi,

I've always been impressed with wikipedia,
and they are currently seeking donations

A VC I spoke to once mentioned that Wikipedia
could be making a lot of money going tp the traditional
sales model. 


It is interesting to consider what a traditional 

sales model may mean to the content of wikipedia.
( I cringe to think of the extreme, i.e. embedded sales 

links in wikipedia. )

Wondering if I was in charge, how could I get revenue
and keep the wikipedia "pure".
