I really enjoyed last nights topic.

Quick summary for those who missed it:\
( please feel free to add to anything here which
I may have over looked. thanks! )

Caltech has teamed up to participate in the
"The Solar Decathlon"

They're using Busybox linux to control various
aspects of the project. Note, there were numerous
challenges for developers using this, as you
could not compile on the device, and some of the
associate APIs of the device they were using (C4)
were not well documents.

oh, other stuff

fb - sgvlug has a fb group page!
may become a fan page. Concerns where brought
about making a separate communication channel,
so people seemed to like it to be more of an
announce page. (? facebook.com/sgvlug ? )

Matt indicates rewrite of www.sgvlug.org in
drupal is going well.

I asked if people enjoyed the assorted deals which
passed along as I noticed, and people seemed to enjoy
them, so as I see them I will pass them along.
( what! Mike informed me that DD-WRT is not open source!
man!! I recalled it was.. looked a bit more at wikipedia
on this and it was not very clear to me what happened,
so i have to read more on it.. )

OH! We do have a topic for the July meeting,
it will be on hacking a Seagate FreeAgent
GoFlex Net Media Sharing device. 
( Hope to post details soon - hint send us
a quick summary so we can post it. )


oh! and now the the cyber terrorism part:
( i know you all want to be deputized for
the cyber home lan security department !)

** IMPORTANT **:

DNSSEC is threatened by the Protect IP bill,
PLEASE communicated with our representatives
so this bill which will increase the potential
for CYBER TERRORISM can be stopped!!!
