[SGVLUG] Pasadena City Extortion of blogger - Re: Any other local bloggers here?

I recall the City of Los Angeles making noises about requiring business 
licenses for freelance writers and the like, probably 8 or 10 years ago. 
  The proposal didn't get very far, I believe.
