[SGVLUG] Next version of SuSE (11.1) to be released soon...

Since I'm more familiar with SuSE than Gentoo, I'm considering puttting
the latest version on the webserver I'm "fixing", so I went off to
www.opensuse.com to grab the latest and found that the next version
(11.1) is due out in 21 days (December 18th)

They've even done something clever by setting up a server at
"counter.opensuse.org" which essentially serves a single static image,
generated at midnight each night, as a "countdown" graphic for your
site. (well, actually it creates it in several sizes and languages, but
you get the idea -- create it once and serve it all day long instead of
chewing up CPU to regenerate it on the fly for every request...)

Does anyone know if other distro's have a similar link? Would it be
beneficial to anyone to include this on the sgvlug website? (for any
distro, not just suse)

Tom

[here's the "code" to get the SuSE graphic and/or link to the upcoming
release]
