yeah.. i work at CC and they are doing
okay.. not great, but all retailers are
suffering.  i built their linux store
infrastructure which has been implimented
across 40% of their chain. (probably would be
a good topic for a monthly meeting). i still believe
in them, they just need to find their nitch,
and the store in monrovia kinda displays their
movement to smaller footprint, more inventory
and better customer experience.

that being said, if you think that BestBuy
is an any better shape, i believe they BK'd
about 9 years or so ago (/me too lazy too google)
so everyone can restructure and re-invent.

you oldtimers like me on the list, remember when
CC had commission based sales staff and you
were scared of being attacked walking in??  they
fixed that, they'll figure a way to fix their
current prob.

saying 'don't buy this and do buy that from CC'
is not like sharperimage who sold crap.  this is
still the #2 electronics store in the country.
