[SGVLUG] Sweet spot for price/performance for new barebones system?

Whew.  Finally picked case and power supply; I'm going to
get an "80 plus" efficiency-rated power supply this time.
And at somebody's recommendation, I'm going with a 24"
monitor (since widescreen 22" said to not feel any bigger than normal 19").
This all pushed the price up to $900, sigh.

I'm still thinking of going with the e7200, though I was briefly
tempted by a Dell deal on a Q6600.
