The Ubuntu GUI gets a lot of focus (deservedly so) but I have also been
using Ubuntu to run corporate and production servers for years and it is
still a joy to work with in this mode without a GUI.
I build and maintain public Ubuntu images (AMIs) for Amazon EC2 and they
are becoming increasingly popular in that server environment.
