1) Reminder, this weekend is SCALE,
the southern california linux expo.

I've covered a number of conferences
in the past, and THIS is ONE which
everyone interested in linux related
topics in the greater LA area SHOULD
attend imho.

It is the best deal you will find for
for any expo/conference I have been to.
( ok, there are a handful like this,
conferences put together FOR US,
for the linux user community. This is
a community event! So please remember
to help where you can. )

2) $70 gets you a "full conference pass"
good sat-sun.

Fri sessions are $10 more,
If you want the training on friday, it's
listed under "university" and is $300
(includes Sat-Sun)

The sessions Fri-Sat-Sun are obviously
a good deal, and you can save more with
a lug user group discount...
(iirc lug discount makes it 1/2 price... )

3) Carpooling??

I'm guessing that the conference should be very
busy, and parking will probably cost a bit also, so...

Does anyone want to carpool???

4) Oh, and remember - since the price of the event
is such a good deal, you will need to fend for
yourself for food. (i.e. if you're on a budget
pack lunch.. if want to help SCALE out they may
still be looking for volunteers... please see the
pass announcement by Gareth. )
