I started with RedHat, I think it was 3.0.3, but switched to Mandriva
back when they were still called Mandrake. For a while, the JPL
section that supported my project was using Mandrake so it was easy to
get updates and images at work. Currently, with the exception of the
server at home, all of my boxes can boot either Linux or windoze. The
2007.1 "Spring" edition is the default on the desktop here at work, my
laptop, the kids computer and the file server. My primary desktop at
home defaults to windoze so I can play games and my wife can access
her work stuff but it does have an earlier version of Mandriva. The
computers I set up for my mom and mother-in-law are also running some
earlier version of Mandriva and windoze as well though I forget what
the default is.
