After laboriously chipping through the html, it was discovered that

This suggests an incompatibility between the partly-installed version
of krusader and the version which is compatible with the Ubuntu that
you're using. Please run "dpkg -s krusader" to see the version and
status of the partly-installed version, and run "apt-cache show
krusader" to find what versions are compatible with your Ubuntu. If
there's a disparity, you might have to "dpkg -r krusader" as David
suggests, and then start over.
