   Non-Profit Laptop Group Reaches Goal of 3 Million Orders To
   Developing Nations

   A nonprofit group's effort to provide laptops to school children in
   developing nations announced they've reached their goal of 3
   million orders, allowing production to begin in October.  Taiwan's
   Quanta Computer Inc. will make the $175 XO laptops which include
   the open-source Linux operating system, pull-cord recharging and
   displays designed for bright outdoor use, the One Laptop Per Child
   (OLPC) organization said.
