[SGVLUG] Is poking fun at Microsoft ever "off topic"?

Office 2007 files are all based on XML (semi-cool, I guesss) and so
therefore all the formats have changed from .doc to .docx or .ppt to .pptx,
so as far as I know, open office cannot open any new office file formats.
