[SGVLUG] need 25 old hardrives.

educatethechildren.com is a recognized non-profit. They started
distributing books and now donate and setup computer systems. Schools in
low income areas have priority over other public schools. These are
mostly elementary schools where Reader Rabitt and Math Rabbit (Davidson
software) are most popular. Software is also donated although I don't
know if it is directly or through Tech Soup, the premiere donated
software distributor.

It would be great to see educatethechildren go state wide, but the
founders' ages and health have become issuses. I have a friend who would
be ideal to take over the day to day operations and move it statewide,
but fullfilling that will take volunteer effort and equipment. Grant
money has been about $250,000 which mostly gets used to hire high school
students to work on setup. I have filled in on setup days and cheerlead
their efforts, but I have three other non-profits that need attention.

They weren't very specific this time about hard drive requirements. I
think eide and ide drives are the most likely fit.
