[SGVLUG] debian - file managers

Greets,

The subject of what file managers are in debian came up, so thought to
mention, for choosing the workstation packages install, it uses Nautilus.

If it is in debian stable, a package will be listed here
http://packages.debian.org/stable/allpackages

For what is it worth, Art, I remember you mentioning positively about
things like midnight commander, so by searching for "file manager" on that
page of packages, came up with

bsc (BeeSoft Commander) is a graphical file manager (similar to the
midnight commander) that displays two directories at once for easier
copying and moving of files.

If fact, there a at least a half-dozen file managers listed, so it will
just be a matter of using aptitude to install them and give each a whirl.
