Since you've been such a good sport about email pickiness (and believe
it or not there are plenty of pickier places than here), I'll give you
one of the secrets to getting an "A+" in Old-Timer Email Netiquette:
don't top post.

It isn't a great deal on this list--in spite of appearances we're more
relaxed than some.  But some of the most informative and useful mailing
lists can get quite picky, mostly because the old-timers are picky.

Explains what top posting is, but don't believe the attempts at fairness
in the Wikipedia article.  It's sometimes tolerated but never really OK
in unix circles.

Is anyone reading this wondering why anyone cares and/or what in the
world this thread is about?
