Plans for the Fourth Annual So Cal Linux Expo are being finalized; the
speaker tracks are almost complete, and FourLoop Technologies LLC
(http://www.fourloop.com/) has been signed as another Expo sponsor.
They'll have a booth and will demo their SwitchVOX PBX system.

The Saturday Keynote will be "Leveraging Desktop Audio and Video to
Drive Your Organization's Corporate Communications" by Janinne Brunyee
of RealNetworks. The Sunday Keynote will be "Why doesn't Johnny run
Linux? Or, Overcoming Desktop Obstacles", by Dan Kegel of Google.

The Expo will be preceded on Friday by the ODF Workshop, which is
scheduled for 1-5 pm., with the keynote speaker being Peter Quinn,
former CIO for the state of Massachusetts. This will be Peter's first
public speaking engagement since leaving the employ of Massachusetts,
and he should have some interesting things to say. The ODF workshop will
be followed by a social hour at the Top Of The Radisson bar. See
http://www.socallinuxexpo.org/odf for more information on the Workshop.

For those attendees who may be interested in staying at the Radisson for
the duration of SCALE, if you mention that you are staying for the
Southern Califoronia Linux Expo you will be able to reserve a room at the
special rate of $99 / night. These rooms will sleep up to four people.

Of course more information about SCALE, such as talk schedules, current
exhibitors, etc. can be found at the SCALE web site,
http://www.socallinuxexpo.org

See you there!
