I'm not sure that's true.  It's been a long time since I read Animal Farm, 
but if I recall right the Pigs quite handily convinced the other animals 
that it was for their own good.

I oughtta write up a version of Animal Farm for the net.  Call it "Server 
Farm", I guess. :-)
