[SGVLUG] trademark realities

Hi!

Michael is absolutely right on imho ..

Maddog is actually a great person in charge of this...

I don't think any user groups which is a traditional user
group will be any problem ( note - I don't think MS
has problems with their user groups either on trademarks,
tho I do have issues with their attempting to hold the
marks on "windows" )

the only possible issues I can see if a user group made it's
own distro... and called it .. say SGVLUG-Linux and attempted
then to trademark that... let's face it .. we're probably too
busy. (WHICH reminds me... our meeting is NEXT week!!!)

OH and it's (R) as Rabs points out..
