Sure...

For a source, I find "http://mirror.mcs.anl.gov/suse/" to be a pretty 
fast server. After selecting a source, click "next" and look for the 
updates in the available patch window. If you don't see some obvious 
"multimedia" patch files, you can find the patches you want by entering 
"mp3" in the YOU search dialog. Packages such as...

kdemultimedia3-mad
xine-mad
k3b-mad

...will provide mp3 support.

Right now, I'm in a hotel room in Savannah, listening to the mp3 files 
stored on my laptop's hard drive.
