I dropped by Du-par's yesterday to check out the AV options.

The good news is that we don't need to worry about getting cables for
the large-screen TV they have in that room.

The bad news is that the reason we don't need to worry about cables is
that the TV is mounted in such a way that its few ports are
inaccessible, and really only RCA anyway.

The north wall is bare and while but brick, so the texture makes it
suboptimal for projection. If one of the LUG members has a screen
please bring it.

In all other respects, as you know from an earlier meeting there, the
room is quite an excellent venue for our group. But for AV projection,
we're pretty much on our own.

--
Richard Gaskin
Fourth World Systems
Software Design and Development for the Desktop, Mobile, and the Web
