<p>Ah, that's because it's running a stripped down version of minecraft. The world is something like 256 x 256, not many particle effects, missing a lot of items, no clouds, no sun and moon, etc. I really wish they would take the mobile version and make it compatible with the PC version, but it's not their intention. Shame, though. With chipsets like the Tegra 3 and the lower resolution of phone screens, it might just be playable on "tiny" settings. Then again, PC minecraft tends to use about 1GB of RAM - the same amount of RAM as what's installed in the iPad and most high end phones.</p>

I wasn't suggesting that iPad was "better" than a C2d. In fact, I was<br>
relying on everyone sharing my perception that for the most part it is<br>
quite the opposite. The truth is though: an iPad, even the first<br>
generation model, can run Minecraft pretty well.<br>
