have been messing with the Arduino Diecimila. It's an inexpensive
open-source microcontroller, of sorts. Perhaps you may be familiar
with the Parallax Basic Stamp or the PICAXE? Anywho, I purchased and soldered
together the Freeduino version of it and I run the IDE in Linux. My
buddies run it on Windows and there's a Mac version also. It was just a
way for us to get together and learn to hack some C/C++ and electronics.
We've just covered the basics so far but we're having a lot of fun. I was
wondering if anyone else on this list has messed with this or any other
micro-controllers? <br>
