What kicked off this behavior, or did it start at boot time? Is<br>
anything connected to the parallel port? Printer? Any mention of<br>
parport0 in dmesg? Had you tried to do anything on the parallel port?<br>

Does lsmod show any parport-related modules loaded? What happens if<br>
you try to remove them?<br>
