Hi all,
The next SGVLUG meeting is part of Pasadena Connect Week (connectpasadena.com).   This is a heads-up.  I'm still working the details.   Please reach out to me if you'd like to help out.

SGVLUG will  be Thursday, Oct 13th, 6:30-9pm
 - the format will be show-and-tell and in-person

 - It's pass-the-hat time; we're running low on funds to cover SGVLUG/SGVHAK expenses such as Meetup and domains.  Please see our financials for our current financial state. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1pXsMJpe1mHs_El3ElaJtZMg-pDvCNkZ1seK5xtdwSa0/edit?usp=sharing
 - It will be hosted at Supplyframe Design Lab. They are doing a venue tour and happy hour around 4pm, so you can come early for that.

The rest of the details are on Meetup:

This month, we will be sharing open source projects that were developed at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

We will also be talking about the Southern California Linux Expo that will be in Pasadena in March 2023, how you can contribute by volunteering or submitting to the Call for Papers.

The talks will be brief, so you'll have a chance to talk one on one and learn more about each project and where you can contribute.
Agenda:

6:45pm Introductions and announcements
7:00pm Southern California Linux Expo
7:15pm Michael Starch will share his work on the F' open source software framework that was used on various cubesats and Mars Helicopter.
7:30pm Lini Mestar and interns Victor Jimenez and Jack Cheng will talk about the current work they're doing with the Open Source Rover at JPL. (https://opensourcerover.jpl.nasa.gov)
7:45pm Lan Dang will be soliciting advice and interest in restarting work on the SGVHAK Rover. (https://bit.ly/sgvhak_rover)
8:00pm Break up into individual discussions
8:45pm Wrap up

Lan
