Apparently, City of LA is holding a tech job fair called TechFair LA on Jan 26th from 11am to 8pm.  It's at 
Magic Box at The REEF 1933 South Broadway  Los Angeles, CA 90007   
Description:
Please join the Office of Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and the City's Entrepreneur in Residence Jason Nazar, for one of the City's largest Technology Job Fairs taking place on Thursday, January 26th from 11-8pm at The Reef in Downtown Los Angeles. The fair will feature 200+ of LA's premier technology companies looking to hire great candidates in engineering, marketing, sales, and more. 
TechFair LA will feature a variety of expert speakers, access to the best tech companies in Los Angeles,and keynotes from the Mayor of Los Angeles as well as high profile CEOs and figures in the LA tech community. Visit company booths and make live connections in-person with folks looking to hire great talent like you!
