I only saw a handful of talks at SCALE this year. Here are the ones that
stood out for me.
Brendan Greggs talk on Linux profiling with perf_events. This was a well
presented introduction to system level performance measurements. Very
exciting capabilities with nice visualization tool.

Gentle introduction to Blender3D by Elijah Caine. Primary live demo.
Watching the workflow was a very helpful reminder about how to do 3D
design. Goes over the mouse, keyboard and menu conventions that help make
navigation through the software much easier.

Open Source Monitoring Landscape by Michael Merideth. The presenter mostly
read his script the whole time but the comparison between the different
tools was helpful and well structured.

Anyone else have recommendations?
