[SGVLUG] SSD Settings

My husband just got a new laptop with a Solid State Drive.

He's planning to install OpenSUSE on it. We've read that with SSDs it would
be better to have some different settings than with old school hard drives.

Does anyone have experience with settings better for SSDs?
