WoW runs great using WINE. Not one glitch. Originally when she first 
started playing in 2008 the WoW game was only about 10GB. Its now over 
30GB with all of the updates to the game. Running WoW is as simple as 
right clicking the exe file, or by adding a launcher to the desktop, or 
adding a link to the unity launcher bar.

For those interested in playing Diablo 3 (made by the same company as 
WoW) it also works great on Ubuntu using WINE (or other linux distro).
