First Google link makes it seem there's a basic tweak of enabling TRIM
support, followed by many more tweaks which I view as being there so you
can "season to taste" for best performance vs life of the disk.

As far as life, tomshardware did what I thought to be a great write-up. I'm
in the middle of helping someone move, so I'll serrch for it when I'm done
if someone wants to read up on it.
