[SGVLUG] Where's the sweet spot these days for moderately fast PCs?

Ah, that's because it's running a stripped down version of minecraft. The
world is something like 256 x 256, not many particle effects, missing a lot
of items, no clouds, no sun and moon, etc. I really wish they would take
the mobile version and make it compatible with the PC version, but it's not
their intention. Shame, though. With chipsets like the Tegra 3 and the
lower resolution of phone screens, it might just be playable on "tiny"
settings. Then again, PC minecraft tends to use about 1GB of RAM - the same
amount of RAM as what's installed in the iPad and most high end phones.

Didn't mean to come off as, "He said the iPad is better than a PC! Get
him!" :)
