Braddock,

Since I came from the world Windows(evil world of Windows as most of you would say), I could use a small factor box (shuttle pc and its case) at home to run linux on and fully immerse into the open source community. I can pick it up today, or even in the next few hours.

Thanks

Subject: [SGVLUG] Free 2.4Ghz Shuttle PC

Hi folks,
I have another 2.4GHz Pentium 4 small form factor Shuttle computer circa
2003 to give away to a good home.
It would make a nice little Linux server or TV media box.

It appears identical to (and may be the same as):
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16856101014

It has a GeForce FX5600 256MB graphics card (high end for the time), and 128MB RAM.
I had it booted up into Linux today and it appeared fully functional at first glance.
No harddrive is included. Missing a couple front covers on the drive bays and a couple screws.

It comes with a very nice little travel bag designed for it by Shuttle.
It pains me to give it away but I need the space.

Free to the person who proposes the best use for it and will come pick it up from me in South Pasadena within the next week.

I also have a decent basic black laptop bag which seems to fit a 15" 16:10 aspect laptop.
I also have a 6 GB (yes 6) 2.5" laptop harddrive, known good.
I have two defunct laptops, one circa 2000 and one 2005. Video glitches on the first (could be a server?), physically broken power connector on the later. No harddrives.

Again, free to whoever wants to pick any or all of them up.
