Ah, the walls have been dry for about 100 years, the house was built in 1912.

Happily, I already have wall boxes installed.  The previous owner
of the house wired every room for cable TV and telephone.
All I need to do is swap out the old coax + phone wallplates
for 3 or 4 port keystone wall plates, populated with the right keystone bits.
And then magically thread the wiring alongside the old wiring.
Good thing I have a crawlspace and overalls...

I "only" want to wire up three ports downstairs:
- living room
- library
- my office
and three ports upstairs:
- bedroom
- wife's office
- tv room
The wiring hub is probably going to be in the basement, near the
existing hubs for telephone and tv.
Might put an ethernet hub in the attic so I only have to run one line down to
the basement.
