Hi,

During the General Meeting last night a vote was
taken with regards to Tom Emerson's being
officially recognized as a Founding Member of
SGVLUG.

While Gunther, Craig Zeller, and others were key
in starting/running a Pasadena area LUG which would
officially become the SGVLUG, there is no reason NOT
to consider anyone significantly participating and
helping to create what would officially become the SGVLUG.

Testimony was presented that Tom was there during
the early planning meetings which helped determine
the structure and the naming of the SGVLUG.

Tom played key roles in helping to create a robust
and cooperative group, and did so for many more
years than any other.

Organized Chaos as Tom Called it.

Considering Tom's key contributions and time line,
I think honoring Tom with a Founding Member title
is very appropriate.

At last nights meeting a vote was taken with regards
to Tom being officially considered a Founding Member
and the result was unanimously in favor.

QED

thanks
matti
