Hi,

Thanks to everyone with regards to suggestions on harddrive
sizes needed for a Linux OS!!

SO, having a bit of time to work on the media server
project, I just pulled a 3TB HD out of an external usb 2 
case and discovered that the HD sells for $210-240!
( bought the external usb 2 desktop HD for $100+tax. )

SWEET!

so, suggestion for those looking to get new harddrives,
look at the deals for external usb 2 drives and PULL the
drive out!!

for some reason the pricing competition for these 
external drives is really good, while the internal
drive pricing is more limited.
