I wish you success with this project.

I once took an interest in a "computer-controlled unicycle".  From an
unstarted condition, the rider could begin building up energy and
angular momentum in the multiple counter-rotating flywheels just by
pedaling.  Almost immediately there would be enough energy to boot the
computer, which would issue a friendly sound of gratitude for being
awakened from its sleep.  When enough energy and momentum had been
accumulated, a Ready indicator would come on.  At that point, the rider
could touch a button to bring the seat to an upright position and
commence riding, stability guaranteed by the computer.

Such fun!  Programming the computer would have been pure joy.
Unfortunately, the physics doesn't work out.
