Caltech is having an independently run "TED" ( thus
called TEDx.. ) coming up next friday.
1/14 10:00 am until 6:30 pm

to attend in person you have to "apply"
to get accepted...

$25 for Caltech students; 
$65 for Caltech faculty, staff, postdocs, alumni and JPL; and 
$85 for all others

hopefully the video of it will be up for
free viewing afterwards
