imho it was a very good presentation, sorry you missed it.
unfortunately, no slides
quick summary, as i recall:
open source biz models:
1) Sell Software ( packed CDs ) - didn't do well.. 2) Consulting Services to modify / customize code / setup systems - once done you are out of work3) Support Contract - better, recurring revenues4) SaaS - ("cloud") provide services based on OSS
OpenX is going forward on #4.
They have an enterprise version of the software, and much of thatthey expect to migrate to the community based one, however someitems on the backend they may not and it may not be an easy thingfor many users to run anyways ( large scale services. )
OpenX is also running an AD market place...
Had some issues with the licensing, and took time toclear up, had to recode, are getting patents to defendvs competition.
yea Dude! you missed a good one ;)
speaking of presentations.. DOES anyone have apresenter they would like to line up for our June meeting?
thanksmatti

Really, really wanted to see this presentation. Did anyone take notes or did Stephan throw up the slides somewhere?
