DrupalCamp LA is one of the largest Drupal camps in the world. In 2009,
there were over 400 developers, themers, admins & business people in
attendance. This year promises to be even bigger and better. Sessions are
being submitted ranging from beginner to expert as well as sessions on the
business side of being a freelancer. DrupalCamp LA is once again being held
at UC Irvine, on August 7th & 8th. Registration is now open & FREE (there
are still some sponsorship opportunities available, as well)!

Drupal is an open source content management system (CMS) sporting a large,
active and very diverse community. Lots of great sites are built using
Drupal including http://LinuxJournal.com, http://Ubuntu.com,
http://FastCompany.com, http://Examiner.com, http://TheOnion.com,
http://BritneySpears.com, http://ChristinaAguilera.com, http://MTV.co.uk,
http://EarthDay.org, http://Change.gov,http://Recovery.gov,
http://WhiteHouse.gov, http://it.usaspending.gov, http://twit.tv,
http://spreadfirefox.com, http://usmagazine.com, http://amnesty.org,
http://grammy.com, http://economist.com,http://art.gnome.org &
http://kerneltrap.org. Even the SCALE site (http://socallinuxexpo.org) is
"90% Drupal." So, chances are, that you (& family & friends) have visited a
Drupal site without even knowing it. Come out & see what it's all about.
