[SGVLUG] VOIP service provider recommendation

Hi,

I have a friend looking to get rid of his
ILEC/telephone company and get more affordable
VOIP service, I was looking for recommendations.

1) He needs to be able to transfer his local
number here and in another state to the service.
(LNP Local Number Portability )

2) He would like to get it forwarded to his
cell phone at times.

3) Was considering Skype, but I dont see where
they can handle the LNP transfer.

Any recommendations?
