In that case, simply meet the person and receive a lock - when you send him the box, put an un-locked lock in the shipment as well - when he returns the box, he would un-lock his lock and put it in the box, using that lock you sent to secure the box itself.  Once set up, this process can be repeated forever (or until you accidentally lock his lock without it on the box, or forget to include an un-locked return lock...)
