I've received a solicitation from a company that sells memory -- they
would like to be a "sponsor" of our user group.  In his words, this
means, "...Our sponsorship
for user groups is different for each one and is dependent on what the
group
and us agree upon, but usually consist of a product giveaway or an
exclusive
group coupon from us."

[I suspect this "sponsorship" is "in consideration for allowing them to
advertise to us / on our website"...]

So, do we bite on this dangling bit of bait?
