"MEETUP" is a calendaring site -- they only maintain listings of
"events" and allow the organizer to manage the "event" as they please.
The site does have tools to help the organizer, hence the ability to
RSVP well in advance, but it really depends on the group itself as to
how much they will rely on advance sign-ups.

However, considering the venue [disney ANIMATION STUDIO, not the theme
park...], it's possible there will be issues with the security
department, and yes, they would want a list of attendees **reasonably**
well in advance so they can arrange for walk-on passes [it's the same
situation here at WB, just down the street from Disney's studio...]

Interestingly enough, looking at the meetup page, I see the last 4
meetings had 7, 4, 2, and 3 members [chronologically backwards...] but
that is only of those that said "yes" or "maybe" via the site, not
necessarilly how many actually attended.  If it is accurate, then the
group is certainly "growing" [and from the looks of the meetup site AND
their web page/wiki, they've only been around for those 4 meetings...]
